I know little about the DVD royalty subject, but does Criterion not get the rights to release newer films? If not, Why? i did notice they released The Royal Tenebaums, is it only certain films from certain Production Companies that they can release? If they released Newer films, maybe they would have the green to spend on releasing more classics with all the Special Extras.
