They believe in and use the Force, which is an unseen power that brings the Universe together. They don't really worship anything or anyone, but follow certain ideals and beliefs that classifies Jedi practices as a "religion".
The thing to remember about religion that many people fail to realize is the difference between BELIEVING and WORSHIPING. That's what causes problems.
