I watched this flick tonight, and I must say I enjoyed it.

What is it with the trend of really depressing films coming out? Is this a newer thing? A lot more films are a lot darker lately. I like it.

My aunt suggested this film to me and said it was really distressing. I asked if it was more distressing than Monster's Ball (a film she didn't like and I loved.). She said "Yes, but in a different way."

I didn't find it [In the Bedroom] very distressing at all, in comparison to a lot of other flicks that I love, but it didn't stop me from enjoying it.

How weird is that? A film isn't distressing, so I don't enjoy it as much. Odd.
