: I watched this flick tonight, and I must say I enjoyed it.

: What is it with the trend of really depressing films coming out? Is this a newer thing? A lot more films are a lot darker lately. I like it.

: My aunt suggested this film to me and said it was really distressing. I asked if it was more distressing than Monster's Ball (a film she didn't like and I loved.). She said "Yes, but in a different way."

: I didn't find it [In the Bedroom] very distressing at all, in comparison to a lot of other flicks that I love, but it didn't stop me from enjoying it.

: How weird is that? A film isn't distressing, so I don't enjoy it as much. Odd.

: Yep. A random post by Virgo.:)

while i really enjoyed the movie as well, i really didnt like the ending. i felt it didnt fit the characters of the story. i felt it wasnt being true to the first 90 minutes of the picture. why did the father have to kill him? if the movie revolved around revenge, then its ok. but it didnt. it was a drama about people who lose a loved one. it was so great, and then the ending just made me wonder why it took that path. what did u think
