Anyone here get up early for those shopping deals?

I went to Best Buy today & got a CD, 2 DVDs, 6 MiniDV tapes & (free) blank CD-RW discs. Got up @ 5am....got there about 5:35am....the store opened at 6am....shopped...then went looking for the end of the checkout line.....found the line but not the end.....kept looking....and looking....and looking....finally after going around the whole store, I found the end of the checkout line - it was at the friggin' front doors. Needless to say I waited in that line for just over 55 min. Next year, I ain't doin' this crap. Waiting in line for a total of 80 min. for only 20+ min. of shopping doesn't seem right. It's all internet gifts from now on.
