i forgot where i read this, maybe aintitcool, but that the whole PTA cooincidence happens type of spiel in the beginning was focused to make the audience believe the cooincidence in the film can happen, which was that at the same time all these people can feel basically the same emotions and all be listening to the same song at the same time that evokes this emotion...and this was the climax, if you will, instead of the frogs...
