: but haven't certain project's been shelved in the wake of 9/11 in favour of more 'feel good' movies?
A few films had their releases pushed a few months, but I never heard of anything being cancelled (except for the Jackie Chan flick that was actually supposed to film at the WTC).
Again, for a couple months after the events, there was this air of "we have to make feel good movies and can't have action or terrorists!" coming from Hollywood suits, but then it turned out that people were renting more action-type films with so-called "objectionable" content from video stores after 9/11, so the Hollywood execs changed their tunes pretty quickly. There was a similar reactionary stance taken immediately after Columbine re: movie violence, and that also passed quickly.
