Would you consider it a chick flick?

I was expecting it to be as such, thereby making me a bit apprehensive about seeing it (I may be a chick, but I'm not fond of the usual "chick flicks"), but...I've been told that it wasn't like a chick flick at all, with some American Pie type humor...would you agree or is my friend just trying to get me to see it?
