or Sleepless in Seatle.....it fails as both a comedy and a chick flick......most critics keep comparing it to a very very bad version of Meet the Parents, which I wouldn't consider a chick flick or a balls out American Pie comedy....in all honesty...this movie is not worth your money...there are no laughs....Jason Lee is ok...but it is painful to see him in it because you know he can be so much better, it isn't neccessarily his fault, the part is just weak as is the script, not sure why he would take this role, probably because it was a Leading role to help his career, but in all honesty I liked Stealing Harvard better, and that was a poor movie......this movie is just a throw away....his character lacks a pair of gonads....its kinda sad really....its a formula film and it was poor
: I was expecting it to be as such, thereby making me a bit apprehensive about seeing it (I may be a chick, but I'm not fond of the usual "chick flicks"), but...I've been told that it wasn't like a chick flick at all, with some American Pie type humor...would you agree or is my friend just trying to get me to see it?
