I don't think it was about the writing, unless that was some totally different thing, but basically it was Favreau saying at some point that he didn't subscribe to the Kevin Smith school of film making, with regard to using the same people over and over in different movies. Of course, I think it ended up being that he was quoted completely out of context; although, it was picked up on the internet and passed as word for word. And you know what happens here when someone thinks anyone famous even remotely disses Kevin. So basically it was a totally blown out of proportion type thing, and they seemed pretty cool about it all.
