OK, it was, believe it or not, Dogma, that got me into the VA thing. I remember Clerks receiving great critical acclaim over here too... Kevin should feel sufficiently proud of Mallrats. I 'force' people to watch it, people who are not into VA, and all my victims have enjoyed it.
Dogma had the advantage of some Channel 4 involvement - which led to exposure on the Sky Movie channels, it's a pity that the other VA productions haven't had this advantage (OK, someone tell me I'm wrong an that they've all been on Sky!).
Ho hum, this is turning into a clumsy post. I'm really trying to say that I consider Mallrats to be an essential piece of the VA jigsaw puzzle.
