I am sitting here watching the commenarty on Chasing amy. I noticed that you speak of Mallrats quite often as a movie that didn't do so well and not many people liked. I wanted to tell you about The Mallrats Rule that was passed to me and i have passed to at least twenty people.
If you are going to rent a movie with a group of people, and you can't decide on a movie (which always happens). You ask if anyone hasn't seen Mallrats, and if one person says they haven't seen it, then you rent it. I have seen the movie at least 40 times like this. I have many friends that have then taken this rule to their other friends, and i have never, ever heard of a person that didn't love the movie. I have firends that hate all of your other movies, but love Mallrats. I rent movies a lot, but only go to movies in theater like 3 times a year, but because of mallrats i will never miss one of your movies on opening weekend, and i have many friends who feel the same way. Mallrats is amazing, great work.
