: I have watched Dogma many times and have laughed my "you know what" off every time. However today, I veiwed the DVD for the first time and noticed one thing I had never caught before. At the very end of the credits, after "Still" completes, it sounds like Mewes says "So, that would make Bethany part black?" Would you tell me what that is all about?
It's one of Jay's lines from the movie. After Silent Bob throws Bartleby and Loki off the train, Bethany, Rufus, Jay & SB end up in the woods around a campfire. Rufus had already explained earlier in the film (at Mooby's) that Jesus was black. Now Rufus explains to Bethany that she is a direct descendent of Jesus (The Last Sian). So Jay says "So that would make Bethany part black?"
I did notice that they replayed that line at the end of the closing credits.
