Basically, the ACTUAL Axis blew up one of our military instillations, on our land... and we were in for a penny, so we were in for a pound.

That's what actually concerns me most about Iraq... no doubt if we choose to we can take Iraq... it's the region-wide destabilization from Morocco to India and all the wars that are going to come after that REALLY scare me.

And don't even feed me this "Al Queda and Iraq ARE ALLIES" bullshit, okay? Seriously. The only similarities are ethnicity... most of the Muslim world HATES Sadaam except when America makes him a rallying point.

Al Queda's long on record as sympathetic to the Kurdish cause... and so is 95% of the Muslim world. They hate Sadaam for it. Sadaam runs a nation wherein a small minority of one Muslim sect rules over a vast majority of two or three others. The Muslim world despises him for that. They HATE him for trying to take Kuwait, which they consider a soverign Muslim land and hence no-touchy. They HATE him for running one of the most secular Muslim states in that region... they hate how many rights, for example, he gives women in relation to other Muslim states.

The only time the Muslim world isn't trying off Sadaam behind the scenes THEMSELVES is when we turn him into a hero by hating him.

Mike
