By your argument, we're attacking Iraq because a Terrorist organization, not a sovereign nation, mind you, attacked our country. Furthermore, I (and the UN and the rest of the world) have not been presented with ANY information showing that Iraq is aidig in terrorist plots WHATSOEVER. The US, with the LARGEST cache of illegal weapons is demanding that a much less powerful country disarm. Shouldn't we heed our own advice? Iraq is a country which ATTEMPTED to create a nuclear program, but abandoned it 20 years ago. Until I see SOLID evidence of foul play from Iraq, I could only assume that the war is for other motives; and we being the largest consumer of oil in the world, is a pretty acceptable reason (for some us officials) to approve an invasion of a country that has done nothing wrong.
