Did you ever get a chance to check out SCARLET DIVA? If you did, what are your thoughts?
The whole time I watched it, I kept saying to myself "Dario, what have you done to your daughter?" Then again, she seems to have picked up on some of his lighting techniques, so his fatherly influence can't be all that bad.
Y'know, as much as she (Asia) says that the movie shows things how they really happen, I couldn't help but feel as if it were a more surrealistic representaion. Of course, I don't know Asia personally, so her life could be that surreal.

Over all, I liked the film. The dream sequence was a little weird (though I'm sure you've noticed that they were watching PHANTOM), but overall, I dug it. I wished they would have flesh out more of the relationship with her brother and what happened after their mother died, but who am I to judge. Which reminds me... Daria niccolodi.... horribly underused in my eyes. BUt I digress.
That and I finally watched CAT O' NINE TAILS. Very nice. I had an Argento family film fest with my grandmother the other day as well. My 77 year old grandmother was quite the fan of INFERNO.
She didn't mind SLEEPLESS either....
