Affleck - arguments toward his acting ability?

hey, i constantly get slagged for being a fan of affleck's work; people
telling me he has no talent, etc. Im not too good with coming up with
arguments for these sorts of things(I know what I like, but it's hard for
me to validate it to someone else). Anyone have any specific acitng
related reasons that they like Affleck?

Oh, and this is my first post. Yay me!
