Saw Kevin at the U of MN this week - even though I graduated College 6 years ago. :) Was unbeliveable how many of his responses weren't rehashed from the DVD. The best anecdotes came at the end of the night - first was him telling the story of his daughter Harley watching J&SBSB for the first time. Of course, she plays the baby Silent Bob, but her reaction to seeing herself on tv "literally made her head explode!" She acted so surprised as if to say - HEY! WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN!?! Then when she saw herself transform into Silent Bob, her head exploded again! :) Also, Kevin said his goal as a filmaker is to take an idea and express it on film so that it conveys its meaning to the viewer. Even to a 4 year old. So...what were his proudest moments? When his daughter saw Uncle Jay go down the drain tube, then the big Monkey - but when DAD got stuck....she blurted out DADDY TOO BIG!!! Also - when the girls are stealing the diamonds and the blonde cuts one, Harley screamed DADDY - SHE LET LOOSE A FROG!!! :)

Then he talked about a soldier stuck in Iraq that emailed him. The soldier is a fighter pilot, and he emailed Kevin with pictures of Iraq from over the shoulder of the BUDDY CHRIST that was on the dashboard of the fighter jet! CLASSIC!

Well - back to work... will have to write more about the seminar later - if anyone has a recording or photos from it, please email me! I saw some guy videotaping the whole thing - it was probably PoopShoot.com

PS - HI VINCINT! Even though you were sitting against the wall for Kevin's lecture, we were the people sitting right by you over in the 5th row. And better tell Kevin to get over his SWEET HOME ALABAMA fixation...that's just not healthy!
