I have seen "DOGMA" a few times, and have enjoyed it very much... My mother was Catholic, and even though I was raised Protestant, I always thought that a lot of the stories of the Catholic church, some of which are not mentioned in the Bible, were fascinating. Obviously, some of the stories (or ideas), such as a "13th Apostle," were created for the movie- but other ones- such as the battle between Heaven and Hell (which was indirectly alluded to in the movie) were not. So my question is as follows: Do you, (or anyone else reading this) know of any good (or great) books that tell and/or explain the stories of heaven and hell, the saints and angels, the demons and devils, and other events, people, and ideas that although have been taught in the Catholic church for a long time, are not necessarily in the Bible? I would really appreciate any information that you (or any other person) could give me. Thank you for your time in this matter!
