the way for all who preceed it. It takes a while for the critics and public to get use to a new idea. The first film gets the history books, the second gets the box office. It's the same way with computer games to a lesser extent.

: Well, probably for the same reasons you love it.

: All of the music is contemporary but reworked to fit into a sound that goes along with the mood of the movie.

: The movie looks AMAZING. I watch it and think, "Now there's a movie that couldn't be duplicated by very many people in the world..."

: The story is great, the music is great...

: It was just very ambitious and something that hadn't really been done before. Musicals had been shit before Moulin Rouge, and now they are "best pictures..."

: Which begs the question, if Moulin Rouge is better in every way than Chicago, how can it not get shit at the Oscars and Chicago win several awards???
