I am pretty sure Kevin is intellegent enough to be under a doctors supervision doing Atkins.
Some ppl just do not metabolize carbs corrctly turning it to fat, some do, some need low fat protiens but carbs are ok (which was my case when i was on phentermine, 100 pounds in 6 months ate lots of pasta, breads, and sugars!)
above all else NEVER ever do any diet like that without doctor supervision, and always always include a multi-vitamin in your daily intake, because when you rule out specific foods you often get low in certain essential vitamins.
Been dieting my entire life on and off, nearly died oce as a result because even tho' i was being supervised, their greed over ruled my health for those peeps (the physcians weightloss program, you are NOT supervised by a doctor regardless of what it presented itself as)
And of course you have to add exercise. Or at least move more than you are now in your day to day like.
If you keep it to three simple principles it is really easy instead of trying to inforce a certain amount of exercise
Eat less
If you are hungry eat (wisely)
move more
NOt eating when you are hungry can send your body into starvation mode
and you will not lose.
Our bodies are such little bitchy brats arent they?
and whats worse there is no one right diet/weightloss program to fit everyone because we are all different and what makes one person fat does not the next etc etc
