I know a bit about Indian culture (I'm a white Anglo, my wife is Indian) and I've spent a bit of time in the subcontinent. There are some aspects of Indian society that I don't like (and I expect you can guess what they might be)- but that's a cultural thing, not racial. Too many people confuse culture with race.
I remember growing up through the original skinhead thing in this country. I wasn't one myself, butI had white skinhead friends and I had black (Afro) skinhead friends and, where I lived, there were mixed race skinhead gangs - this was before there was a link betweeen 'skinheads' and the National Front. The original skinheads were actually quite into West Indian culture - reggae was their music of choice!
