The original skinheads were actually quite into West Indian culture - reggae was their music of choice!
And yeah I grew up late 70's 80's and was heavily into punk and ska!! i also saw the like of skinheads/blacks(afros) listning to reggae/northern soul... ...amazing!! so why the rift?!?! beyond me!! think i'm too laid back to care!!
