: Whateva! Whateva! I do what I want!

Are you sure?

: Yeah, so many other parts of the movie were WAY possible.

Possible with computer/wite assistance. But some scenes were impossible do to physics. Stupid physics.

: I'll be submitting this idea to the Wachowski bros. themselves, hopefully they'll be able to take your advice and fix Revolutions before it comes out. Then they can go back George Lucas style and fix the DVD release of Reloaded to suit your personal needs. Thank god for movie critics like you, otherwise we would all have to suffer much more than we already have.

Glad to hear it. Also let them know that while I did enjoy the movie, more focus on blending/textures in the CG parts would have helped me get into it more. I'm not being a critic, I'm not saying you shouldn't go see it. I'm telling you why I didn't like it. I could care less if anyone else goes and sees it.

The CG has nothing to do with the movie, and everything to do with the trends in the film industry to use CG to gloss over a hard to shoot scene. I think its bollocks.

: Oh, and "New Smith Army", what an awesome idea for a band name!

Yeah. I liked it. Perhaps kinda Techno-Industrial?

: Yeah, that game rocks. I have it on PS2, come on over, and stop at the Liquor Store on your way.

Sure. What you want?

I did like the way they tied the game into the movie. Pretty damn good idea. And the hacking part was neato.

: Now stop being so finicky! Can't you just watch a movie without bitching about the FX? You must have a SHIT FIT when watching a sci-fi movie made before 1990! Jesus, the FX are still WAY new! Sure, they don't look completely REAL, but they're still better than anything we've ever seen before.

I'm not being finicky! Heh. I think my point is that sometimes less is more. I just feel the Matrix went overboard alot. Pure gratuitous action sequences. For the hell of it. The exact same point could have been gotten across with 10 Smiths than 1000. They went big so they would appeal to the kids with the attention span of a gnat. Not everyone agrees, but pleanty do.

I'll still go see the next one though.

: And I enjoyed the "burly brawl". Even when Neo got all Sega Genesis on our asses.

I enjoyed it too, but it jarred me out of the movie. And that's not good. You don't want to be reminded you're watching a movie, at least I don't. I want to ride along. But that was just weird looking and totally blew it for me.
