: I'm not being finicky! Heh. I think my point is that sometimes less is more. I just feel the Matrix went overboard alot. Pure gratuitous action sequences. For the hell of it. The exact same point could have been gotten across with 10 Smiths than 1000. They went big so they would appeal to the kids with the attention span of a gnat. Not everyone agrees, but pleanty do.

Hollywood blockbuster summer movie WITH pure gratuitous action?? NEVER!!
