"The Adventures of Captain America:Sentinel of Liberty" was a four-book series that retells and reimagines his origin and crosses Indiana Jones with Superman. This is my vote for an astounding and underrated comic book mini-series. The art was great, but the writing was what did it. If they made a Cap movie based on this, it'd be excellent. I highly recommend reading this, even if you're not a Cap fan.

What's your vote for phenominal comic mini-series/arc/graphic novel?
