Its more on the republic era, i was also thinking of comparing to the greeks, but that was
more in art and sculpture. . . i have not researched art and sculpture yet, but the prof said
that i dont have to write my paper exactly on the same thing that i present . . . I think it
might be easier to compare the greek sculpture to the roman of the era, my friend did a
paper on that last year, so i know it can be done.
i could also just look up greek stuff on houses and see what compares there too. . . what do
you think would be easier, art and sculpture and start over again, or just look up the greek
stuff for houses?
i was also thinking of just saying how the republics way of planning cities and all the
technological advancements (heating, aqueducts, etc) lead to how todays world plans cities
and blah blah blah . . .
what do you think would be easiest to do?
thanks for your help, its made me think instead of stress!!!
: Compare architectur just of the roman empire such as how The Amphitheater of Nimes
compares to the Pantheon. Then move on talking about something like greek style vs.
roman style of architecture and go indepth as to a common size of rooms, number of
amenities then give examples of how the plans of then affected plans of todays soietcy.
Also, I'm not familiar with that era too much but you could try to compare styles under
various rule such as oligarchy(sp) and democracy rule and whether they had an affect (like a
home-owners association lol) on the "neighborhoods" of those governemnts. Are you also
doing art and sculpture? I can help you a little in that department as well.
