: their last album (Abbey Road) was recorded in 1969. "Let it Be" came out in 1970, BUT was recorded in 1968. Rock died with "Abbey Road" in 1969, everything afterwards was variations of Rock.
I disagree, you don't have to talk collectively when you say Beatles, Lennon, McCartney and Harrison were all making great music, individually, well into the 70's.
