A few years back, Garth Ennis (the writer of the book) asked Scott and I to get
involved. We said we'd be happy to lend our names, if that helped at all in getting
the flick made. Obviously it hasn't (well, either it was our names that turned people
away, or Rachel Tallalay's name; at that time, she wanted to direct; she'd directed
that "Freddy's Dead" Elm Street picture, as well as "Tank Girl"). It certainly didn't
help that "Dogma" went through what it did with the church people.
But now, in the comics-friendly age of motion pictures, maybe a "Preacher" movie
could get up and running, or already is (I mean, shit - they're making "Deathlok"). I
have no clue. Last I'd heard, we were no longer involved.
