element being what would keep PREACHER from being made, but now that you point it out, I suspect that's probably what's holding things up.
PREACHER would offend every Christian group from here to Timbuktu...WAY more than "Dogma". Any backer would take a huge risk on that. I know, that's obvious, but I just never considered it.
It's too bad; the comics are gorgeous, and so funny, and I'm not a comic fan in general.
