I recently gave up trying to pencil comics and thought I'd give writing a try. Ive read a few books on screenwriting since I figured the two were sort of related. Since youve done both I was wondering, do you think its better to try and meticulously describe the action in each panel including camera angles and perspective, or should you leave more descretion to the penciler and just generally describe what should happen on the page and let the artist make the decisions on composition? I read that directors hate getting screenplays with camera directions and I figure the artist on a c-book is acting as a director in many ways. So which way do you think works best? Thanks
