Depends. It takes different strokes to move the world.
However, I suggest two moves that would help you. First off, check out what Marvel's Epic line has to say. Next, why not pick up some issues from Marvel's "'Nuff Said" month from about two years back? The stories were silent so, obviously, the writers had to leave a ton up to their artists. I particularly enjoyed X-Force (Doop rules all), Exiles, Captain Marvel and Amazing Spiderman from that month, however you really had to follow the latter two titles to get the most out of them. Also, they had scripts at the end of the titles, though only partial, that would be of interest to many, I'm sure. Maybe you could check it out and see what you think.
Otherwise, why'd you give up on penciling? Just feel you didn't have what it takes or ended up with the visual appeal of, say, a Kevin Smith movie? What's the deal, man?
