Raikus,
It all comes down to what you're going to use it for.
I bought mine so I could listen to music while I'm doing something
active (running, lifting weights, biking, climbing etc.). If this is what it
will be used for make sure you get a solid-state player (i.e. no moving
parts). I bought a MuVo from Creative. The only drawback is it doesn't
have a display... but it IS probably the lightest one out there. Good
news is, Creative just came out with MuVo NX. It has a display
screen:

The great things about these MuVos is that they function as a flash
drive. If you have MP3s on your PC, just plug the MuVo in your USB
port, a window pops up on your desktop, then you simply drag and
drop, and you're ready to go.
Now, if you just simply want to use it as a portable player that stores
lots of songs, you've pretty much got your pick of the litter. A buddy of
mine has an iPod, and damn , they are pretty cool. iRiver makes good
players too.
You may want to do what I did ... go to Amazon, and simply look at the
feedback from customers... they can be very helpful.
