: While it seems to lack the humor and humanity of the original (If I sound loopy to you, a thousand apologies.. I'm a seriously hardcore horror fan.. and Romero is jeez, one of my earliest film heroes.), what makes up for it is the fact they (Zack Snyder and James Gun, Gumm?) incorporated many of the story elements that Romero had originally intended for his movie. It's far grittier.. more in the 28 Days Later vein.
As 28 days later was a waste of time, really, what was good about this movie, i am sure that this remake will be terrible.
