: my second problem was that they didn't have one of those electro-shock deals (forget the name of that too) in Zion. all of their ships were equipped with them, but not the main base. what kind of sense does that make?

What moobyman said below

: : really got wierd. and that trainman character sucked. and the indian family? I didn't get their characters much at all.
: : but then it picked up. I really got nervous it would be shitty, but luckly it pulled itself together.

The trainman character, is just as random as the meravingian ( excuse my spelling ) but he did serve a purpose as did that indian family. I think that the purpose of the Indian family was to show Neo that even robots can love, or that in the end he would have to make a peace instead of destroying the machines completely. There's many different philosophies for the matrix but i think that it all boils down to the word Love. That's why it ended the way it did.

I loved the line Neo used at the end of the Smith fight... when smith was giving him all this shit about why he kept trying and shit and Neo said " because i choose to" that was fucking sweet; it made you think. Remember in Reloaded they talked about "what is control?" and all that shit.
