I think he was an alien all along so he really wasn't possessed. When they first found Duddits they said he was from an orphanage. So I think became the carrier for the Aliens. His sickness was totally unrelated to being an alien.
On a side note what will be next for Mr Wahlberg he's seen ghosts and killed Bruce Willis because of it, he was a cop on a pretty sorry excuse of a series, and now Duddits. What's next Donnie?
