And that might be a problem with people buying tickets for the illustrious Sugar Bowl or the coveted Rose Bowl ... but wouldn't the overall gross of ticket money be more WITH the extra game? Both would be sold out pretty much no matter what.

They could do a Final Four type thing at one site (two games in two games ... and the final one a week later) and then keep the Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, etc. for the other teams besides the top 4. I mean, that's how it was anyway (before the BCS), where those bowls weren't necessarily needed to determine the national championship. They wouldn't really lose any ticket sales or prestige ... as long as its kept seperate from the two game playoff.

I understand why colleges want the bowl system and all that crap ... but there has to be a way around it all.
