Therefore, I wont turn this into an argument in defense of this movie, which I enjoyed a great deal.

Us vs Them. This is the constant plot and metaphor in the films. Human vs mutant. Its basic and was presented in the first film when we were familiarized with the characters and background plot. If you hadnt seen the first film, or real the comics, I could see how you wouldnt understand why Wolverine was where he was.

Magneto is never nice. He had his own "agenda of rage", and knew exactly what he wanted to accomplish - Killing all humans. He is a die-hard pro-mutie, so its in his best interest to assist the X-men so that the mutants survive.

Yes, the Presidential orgy scene was a little more than I needed, but as far as hidden content on a DVD goes - it actually did rate rather high.
