Yeah, I kind of got the feeling that tablature would've been big at MI.

And I wasn't knocking Paul Gilbert in the least. I'm a fan, no matter how big his hair used to be.

Nope, never saw Electric Fence, but I've heard nothing but good things. The closest I've come is when Paul and another local guitarist (the infamous Reb Beach of Winger fame) once played a charity benefit for a local kid, so that was pretty interesting.

To my chagrin, I must also admit that I sat through a Mr. Big concert once, too. And let me tell you, I was a little out of place in that crowd. It was a combination of obvious-guitarists-standing-cool-with-their-arms-folded type of guys and big-haired-and-a-tad-on-the-skanky-side girls.
