OK, maybe knee-jerk wasn't the right term. BUT the action of the FCC was in reaction to the fallout of the Super Bowl stunt.

And, I agree with the rest of this point above. I can't stand nor do I understand where any moralist group gets off trying to tell people how to live.

And maybe it's because I'm up in the Boston/Providence area, but people I spoke with didn't seem "offended" by Nipple-Gate. We just buzzed about how it was such a transparent attempt for publicity. And, it sure was public.
