I'm happy to see a well-written, intelligent first post. Thanks for the links. Personally, I don't have an interest in many webcomics, but a list encompassing all the VA references you've found in your travels would be great to check out.
And as a final note, as an American, I actually DO appreciate your using our backwards date style.
Now just stop using the metric system.
