: So, the 'Dawn of the Dead' re-make is the number one film in the US right now? That's all well and good, I suppose, but if there's any justice in the world 'Shaun of the Dead' will kick it in the teeth when (or if) it gets released. Great performances, fantastic direction, genuinely scary/horrific moments and all-round hilarity make it my favourite film I've seen for a while. You might not appreciate it as much if you're not familiar with the British sit-com 'Spaced', but it's still very funny as well as being a pretty great tribute to the whole zombie movie genre. So, if you ever get the chance to catch it, take it. SO SEZ TOM.

i usually don't like movies that try to be serious one minute, funny the next. i saw the trailer and it looked like a really silly movie. how do you mean some of the stuff was genuinely scary? did they attempt at all to make it "serious"

thanks for the review. looking foward to this one.
