Three more films will be added soon!

LOCATION:

TICKET INFO:

* Tickets go on sale Saturday November 3, 2001 at 12:00 Noon (EST)

* Based on previous events, the tickets should sell out within three hours.

* There will be a limit of two tickets per phone order.  Tickets are Sixty ($60) each, payable by Visa or MasterCard

* Ticket sales are by phone:  Call 732-842-6933, and have your credit card information ready.  We'll be shutting off the voicemail feature on the phone lines, however, should you get a voicemail message, DO NOT leave your info on it, as we won't be honoring voicemail orders.  You have to speak with a LIVE representative (as opposed to the dead ones who normally work the phones here are View Askew) in order to secure tickets.

* Please do not call the ticket number before Noon on November 3rd, as no ticket orders will be taken until then.  Also, please don't bug Walter at the Stash about tickets or other info.  He has no info beyond what you're reading here.

* You will be given a confirmation number over the phone for ticket pick-up.  Tickets will be distributed on the Saturday and the Sunday prior to the event at the Stash.  To pick up your tickets, you will need the confirmation number, as well as two forms of I.D.

* Once your tickets are picked up, you can sell, trade, or donate them as you please, however tickets are non-refundable.  Don't ask us to handle your transfer of tickets

* Scalping tickets (selling at a higher price) is illegal in New Jersey, so don't even try it!   Last year, a scalper was detected and said scalper's tickets were confiscated and re-sold.

EVENT INFO:

* The show starts at Noon, and the doors open at 11AM.  Be there EARLY, like at least by 10AM.  If not, then you sir will be fucked.  You'll have trouble finding parking and you'll be at the end of the line, which means you get the crappiest seats in the house.

* Parking in Red Bank is tight, so we recommend that you carpool into town.  There's a metered lot right across the street from the Clearview, but it fills up fast.  There's also a  free lot and a parking garage on Mechanic St. behind the Stash.  Good luck finding a spot on the street, you'll need it.

* The line at the door will be long, but once the doors open it moves fast.  This is a good chance to trade tickets if necessary.

* The weather will be cold, and it could be snowing as well.  Be prepared!

* There will be celebrities appearing, but they are never announced until the event starts, so don't ask.

The Marksman's Notes

GOOD EATS

  • Broadway Diner 45 Monmouth St.  (732) 224-1234

Darth’s Review:  The greasiest of all possible spoons, to be sure, but it has a spiffy 50s diner feel, complete with 45-playing jukeboxes in the booths.

  • Morgan’s Food & Spirits Holiday Inn Tinton Falls  (732) 935-1942

THE SCHEDULE

THE RUMORS

Vulgarthon III - Announcements

09/25/01 - From Kevin:
On the 'Vulgarthon' front: it's looking like January. The only flicks I know for sure that'll be in the line-up are Bryan Johnson's 'Vulgar' (the theatrical release of which is now February) and 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' (the theatrical release of which is... well, now; fuck, what're you reading this shit for? Go see the flick again).

Please - no strings of "KEV! YOU GOTTA INCLUDE ******* IN THE LINEUP!!!" or "KEV! YOU GOTTA GET ******** TO SHOW UP THIS YEAR!!!" posts. We'll be working on the official selection of flicks all next month; and, as most of you already know, we NEVER announce anyone being in attendance other than me - as most folks are usually working on other flicks whenever we throw one of these things, and I, traditionally, am not.

Should be fun, though, regardless. These things always are. Maybe there'll be a cut of the Columbia TriStar DVD done by that point, and we'll debut it there. Then we can have a Q&A after you've just watched me give a bunch of Q&A's on tape. And to make it even more weird, it'll all be in synch with the Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon'...
