Dogma Distrobution Problems.

I know Disney drop distribution on "Dogma" and that Lion's Gate has picked it up. I'm doing an informative speech on the delay release on the movie and would like to fill in the spaces.

What Companies did Miramax approach for distribution for "Dogma"?

Did each company that turned down the distribution, turn it down because they didn't like the controversy that might arise?

If you know anything that might be usefull, could you please fill it in?
