Now I agree that in most cases big special effects make a lesser film (Armageddon) but the stuff in T2 was just awesome and never strayed from the story one inkling.
Not that T1 was a bad movie, it's a damn fine film and one of my faves, but T2 just kicks its ass..... all except the scene where Kyle tells Sarah how he felt about her and why he volunteered to go back in time. That was gripping. Aisde from that though T2 was better.
