Okay, fine. I deserved that. Mildly. I went back and read over what I last posted and I can see how it could be taken worse than I meant it. Like I said, inflections say a lot that can't be captured on a board.

I'm sorry, but that just makes the whole filmmaking experience "soulless" in my eyes.

Actually, I love the fact that he can do that now. I read a similar article in MILLIMETER and was amazed. As a director, I love the idea of being able to control as absolutely as that. Now I'm not saying we should all go around completely re-making a scene on computer just for the hell of it. This isn't something to be used frivilously. Of course, sponatanuity and actors' performances will always remain paramount and it's great to get exactly what you want on set, but for those times you don't, it's nice to know the technology to fix it is there, don't you think?

I didn't say you were destroying him. I said you were trying to. And by bashing him, not by simply not being a fan. You said he was soulless. You said all he cares about are selling his fucking toys(not verbatim). That's what I objected to. That goes beyond not being a fan. That's called being a detractor. It's the difference between simply not liking a flick and not seeing it. Or actively protesting it outside a theatre.

Again, that was not to be taken literally. It was an analogy. In no way am I claiming you stood outside a theatre, or theatres at any point in time and protested.
