So I was watching Chasing Amy again, and then I realized something about the decision Alyssa Jones made about her sexuality.
See, She said that you shouldnt be restricted to search for your soul mate in just one sex.....so as a result she went full blown Lesbian? I mean, with her reasoning it would make more sense to be bisexual. Yes, I do realize that the reason why she gave Holden a chance was cuz she remembered why she made her initial decision, but based on what she said, dont you think she would have thought about that in the beggining, thus causing her to be bi from the start?
.....and yes, I do realize that she once was with Men aswell, however, if she did want to explore all of her options, why would she decide to close herself off to one sex?
There is no denying that for a period of Time, Alyssa Jones looked only for women, and yes, she had been with men before, but if she truly wanted to explore all options (like she says she did) why did she, at one time stop looking for men?
alright, Im getting very reptetive....It just Boggles my mind, can anyone help me out?
