I shot and completed A BETTER PLACE in 16mm for a grand total of about $50,000. NO DV CAMERA THAT CAN APPROACH THE QUALITY OF 16MM is this cheap. You'd need a High-Def camera for that, and that would end up costing way more than it cost for me to shoot in 16mm. Besides, I like film better, so the short answer is, no.
