Unbeknownst to us when we recorded the commentaries, Disney put in the contract when they sold DOGMA to Lion's Gate that Disney nor any of its affiliates could be mentioned in connection with DOGMA thereafter. While recording the commentary, we talked about the fact that DOGMA was originally a Miramax film several times- Miramax is owned by Disney, or couse. When we became aware of this ridiculous clause that was in the contract, something had to be done, so rather than leave gaping holes in the commentary we decided it would be better to just BLEEP the "offending" words- Disney, Miramax, Bob, Harvey, and Weinstein.

: And another thing. Kevin Smith hinted in the introduction to the deleted scenes that an "animatics" with Glick in a commercial that wasn't made would be on the DVD. I haven't found it. Is it on the DVD?

This was left off the DVD at the behest of- DRUMROLL PLEASE- Disney!

Gotta love the Reich, I mean, Mouse.
