Taking out kevin Smith movies by default (kind of like Citizen Kane on most lists) I would have to say some of my favourite include:

Empire Records
Almost Famous
High Fidelity
actually any movie with a good soundtrack.

Currently my favourite is the Clerks DVD...I think I've watched it 10 times in the last 5 days..laf
